The Goodman Community Farm, is an urban permaculture pocket shaped by Cultivate Central. By volunteering at the Goodman Community Farm you’re not alone. You get to work with nature and a community. The space is shaped and cared for by a pool of master gardeners and permaculture practitioners. Goodman Community Farm is a demonstrative urban permaculture food garden and commons full of with opportunities to learn about practical eco-positive habits. We keep activities to small-scale and soil-based urban farming relevant to Singapore. Pick up knowledge and skills about composting, no-dig gardening, closed-loop soil building, growing local and regional herbs, vegetables and fruits, mulching, small-scale aquaculture, natural pest management, building up biodiversity, natural fertilising, permaculture design and harvesting! With some practice, space and support at the Goodman Community Farm together we can become producers not just consumers of food.
