Boon Lay Nature Garden
Boon Lay Nature Garden is a unique experimental communal regenerative gardening space where we are experimenting with gardening methods unfamiliar to most Singapore residents. We are working towards edible meadow, food forest, wildlife forest, amphibian habitat and more. In this space, our community are the humans and wildlife. We learn to garden with Nature as our teacher and leader. No plant is a weed although we do take out plants to cultivate ecological succession and a more biodiverse garden. You won't find supermarket leaf vegetables here. We focus on the forgotten or lesser known plants, and try to source for plants in natural habitats around Singapore or the region. The project is volunteer-driven and coordinated by a small team.
